Metamorphosis

This animation is a tribute to Hunter S. Thompson, a journalist and writer who passed away several years ago. Two movies were based on his work, which you might've heard of; Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) and  the Rum Diary (2011). In both he himself is the main character and Johnny Depp portrays him. I recommend both movies by the way, if you like colorful madness.
From what I've seen this next animation is a good translation of Thompson's world and on top of that it's a really good animation too. Each shot is incredibly appealing in its own way and it really succeeds in sucking you in. They themselves describe it as a graphic equivalent of a drug fueled rant, it's great!

(I feel like I should end with a "don't do drugs" kind of sentence, this is just way too encouraging, haha.)

I put this in Short Film just because it doesn't scream at you that it's actually a commercial, does it. At least it doesn't at first glance.
